• Leading publisher (print, online, conferences, webinars, databases etc..) in the Hispanic and Latin American Advertising, Marketing and Media space, is looking for a Sales/Marketing Intern asap.
Qualifications:
• Motivated self-starter with ability to work independently
• Knowledge of basic computer software – i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint
• Courteous phone/interpersonal skills
• Bilingual – Spanish/English preferred (or good knowledge of Spanish)
• Familiarity and enthusiasm for Marketing and Sales
Description of General Responsibilities:
• Update and maintain a database of media contacts
• Prepare and send out media kits and/or proposals on a daily basis
• Follow up on calls made by Portada’s sales team
• Administrative support including answering phones and clerical tasks
• research work, supporting research Team.
• Additional responsibilities and tasks to be assigned as needed
We offer:
Semester: Fall 2009 – Spring 2010
Commitment: 20 hours per week
Compensation: Academic credit for Fall 2009, Spring 2010 Semesters. Stipend: $500.00 upon completion.
With satisfactory performance, we may offer the opportunity to be a staff member in the medium term.
